Episode #107: Jesse Sanchez and Naz review the film "Green Room" / by Naz Red

Jesse Sanchez, a filmmaker and devoted soldier for the cinema (thus making him a man of strong opinions) stops by to review with Naz, much like the late greats Siskel and Ebert, the film "Green Room" from 2015, directed by Jeremy Saulnier. The film, about a punk rock group that is trapped in the green room of a skinhead club after witnessing a murder perpetrated by a vicious gang of neo-nazis lead by Patrick Stewart, left Jesse with several strong opinions, which are explored at length in the podcast. The hot button issues the film brings up leads to an avalanche of thoughts on areas as diverse as punk rock and race in cinema and society in general and a few thoughts on the late, sweet seeming Anton Yelchin. Also, Jesse explains the real history of the Academy Awards and talks about his feature that he is writing and directing called "Koreatown".
